Meeting Notice May 22nd, 2018

The next meeting of the
 Collectors Club of Boston
will be held at
7:00 P.M.
on
Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018

at the
New Light Korean Church
730 Main Street, Waltham, MA.

Please Note: The building will be open by 6:00 PM.

With no scheduled talk the program for the evening will be an extended show and tell. Members are encouraged to bring in an item or two from your collection to share with our members.

John Ferreri will also be conducting an auction.

In addition to our regular auction tonight, we will also be having a special auction of donated items *(10-12) belonging to Watertown Police Sgt. John MacLellan of Newton.  There is no listing of these items and too late to try to identify them correctly.  These are foreign made collectibles, some hand- made!

John's story is well known to all of us because of his heroics involving the infamous Boston Marathon of 2013.  However, as many of us may not know, is that John is a very generous individual. He has donated several unusual and unique items which he asked us to auction here tonight.  What makes the auction extra special is that all proceeds will be evenly distributed to the 3 area clubs for refreshments and during our meetings.  So, bring your wallets, get ready to bid and to win!  May the bidding be brisk and generous!

We hope everyone can attend!

Neil Musante, author of Medallic Washington, an exceptionally well done two volume work, will present on: The Medallic Work of Charles Cushing Wright.
